Santas Around the World
Santas Around the World is a multicultural exhibit of life-sized international Santas. It began in 2000 with six Santas and they were located in local businesses in downtown Great Bend. The need for a collective exhibit was needed in 2003 with the addition of another six Santas. Today, there are a total of 25 Santas representing countries and regions from around the world. These life-sized Santas were designed and made by local artist Loretta Miller. Her interpretation of the cultures of each of the figures is what makes the exhibit so unique. She carefully molded the faces and hand-picked the fabrics and brought to life the personality of each one.
